Remnant Warrior Ministries is a Kingdom-centered, Spirit-governed ministry committed to awakening, equipping, commissioning, and mobilizing the Remnant for the advancement of the Kingdom of God. Our assignment is not simply to gather believers, build ministries, or reproduce religious structures. We exist to form mature disciples of Jesus Christ who are grounded in Scripture, governed by the Holy Spirit, equipped for spiritual warfare, and prepared to carry the Gospel of the Kingdom into their communities, regions, and nations.

Founded in 2005 as Mighty Arm Ministries by Pastor Russ and Emelie “Millette” Welch, this work was birthed from a vision to carry the Gospel to the lost and shine the light of Christ into places where darkness, bondage, brokenness, and hopelessness had taken hold. From the beginning, the mandate was clear: preach Christ, disciple believers, minister freedom, heal the brokenhearted, and equip men and women to live as faithful followers of the King.

Over the years, the Lord opened doors into senior communities, hospitals, jails, homeless outreach, juvenile detention centers, and international ministry through the Rushing Mighty Wind School of Ministry, with campuses in India and the Philippines. By 2016, nearly 4,000 students had graduated and been commissioned. From 2006 through 2020, our ministry also participated in an initiative that helped establish more than 125 house churches throughout India.

That season taught us something that now stands at the center of our present assignment. The Great Commission was never merely a command to build churches, establish organizations, or expand ministry names. Jesus commanded His followers to make disciples of the nations. Buildings may serve the mission, ministries may support the mission, and local congregations may strengthen the mission, but the mission itself remains the formation and multiplication of disciples who know Christ, obey His Word, walk in His Spirit, and are capable of discipling others.

In 2021, the Lord began speaking with increasing urgency concerning the Remnant and the seriousness of the hour. Between 2019 and 2021, we became convinced that a significant spiritual transition was taking place in the Church, calling believers away from passive Christianity and religious dependency and into a greater understanding of the Kingdom of God, spiritual maturity, and obedience to the government of the Holy Spirit. By mid-2022, the assignment became clearer: awaken the Remnant, restore Kingdom identity, train believers for spiritual warfare, and prepare mature disciples for Kingdom service.

Out of that redirection, Remnant Warrior Ministries emerged with a renewed mandate. The former school of ministry was eventually developed into what is now Kingdom War College, expanding the original training vision into a broader equipping work focused on biblical discipleship, spiritual warfare, deliverance, prayer, Kingdom authority, prophetic discernment, identity in Christ, and Holy Spirit-governed living.

Today, Remnant Warrior Ministries is a multi-expression Kingdom work with one unified purpose: to raise up a holy, healed, biblically grounded, spiritually equipped Remnant capable of advancing the Kingdom of God in this generation.

Highway to Heaven Church serves as the local Ecclesia expression of Remnant Warrior Ministries. It is not merely a weekly gathering or another religious service. It is intended to be a Kingdom altar, a house of His presence, a place of healing and deliverance, a center of discipleship, and a training ground for believers who desire to walk in truth, freedom, spiritual maturity, and obedience to Christ.

We believe the local Ecclesia should reflect the New Testament pattern of a Spirit-led people gathered around the presence and Lordship of Jesus Christ, governed by the Word of God, filled with the Holy Spirit, devoted to prayer, and equipped to influence families, neighborhoods, cities, and regions. The congregation should not become a place where believers remain spiritually dependent upon a platform. It should become a place where believers are strengthened, discipled, equipped, and prepared to carry the life of Christ beyond the gathering.

Our desire is to see the broken restored, the hungry fed with truth, the wounded healed, the oppressed set free, and believers established in their identity as sons and daughters of God. We believe the Ecclesia should be a dwelling place for the presence of God, where the Word is preached without compromise, worship exalts Christ, prayer confronts darkness, communion continually declares the victory of the Cross, and disciples are formed for Kingdom assignment.

Kingdom War College is the primary training and equipping arm of Remnant Warrior Ministries. It exists to prepare believers for mature Kingdom service through biblical instruction, discipleship, spiritual warfare, deliverance, prayer, prophetic discernment, Kingdom authority, identity in Christ, and life under the government of the Holy Spirit.

Kingdom War College was born from a conviction that the Body of Christ must be trained, not merely entertained. This is not the hour for passive Christianity, powerless religion, spiritual spectatorship, or believers who remain unequipped in the face of darkness. The Church needs mature disciples who understand Scripture, recognize deception, discern spiritual opposition, minister freedom to the oppressed, walk in prayer, and know how to stand in the authority Christ has given His people.

With more than 400 students currently receiving training through Kingdom War College, the school is becoming more than a collection of online courses. It is developing into a global training ground for believers who desire to go deeper, grow stronger, and become prepared for the work God has placed before them. 

The goal is not simply course completion. The goal is spiritual formation, biblical maturity, faithful obedience, and readiness for Kingdom assignment.

Students who faithfully complete the required Kingdom War College training pathway and demonstrate maturity, character, biblical understanding, faithfulness, and readiness for ministry may be considered for commissioning through Remnant Warrior Ministries. Commissioning is not intended to create a religious title, establish personal importance, or produce representatives who simply carry the name of our ministry. It is intended to recognize those who have been prepared to serve Christ faithfully and to send them forward with prayer, accountability, and a clear Kingdom mandate.

Those who are commissioned will not be sent merely to establish churches or reproduce the structure of Remnant Warrior Ministries. They will be commissioned to carry the Good News of Jesus Christ into their communities, regions, and nations and to fulfill the command of Christ to make disciples. Wherever the Lord sends them, the objective will remain the same: reach people with the Gospel, establish them in truth, equip them for spiritual maturity, and prepare them to disciple others.

Our Kingdom assignment is multiplication through discipleship. We believe the Gospel advances most powerfully when transformed men and women carry the presence, truth, character, and authority of Christ into the places where God has positioned them. They must be equipped not only to recognize darkness, but to understand how the truth of the Gospel confronts the spiritual, cultural, and ideological strongholds that resist the knowledge and government of God.

We are not interested in confrontation for its own sake, nor are we seeking to build a movement centered upon a personality, ministry platform, or institutional identity. Our burden is to raise up disciples who know the Word, recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit, understand their identity in Christ, walk in holiness and humility, and possess the spiritual maturity necessary to minister truth, freedom, healing, and restoration in the world around them.

We believe the scattered Remnant must be brought into greater spiritual alignment around Jesus Christ, His Kingdom, His Word, and the government of the Holy Spirit. That alignment cannot be built upon celebrity Christianity, institutional control, religious performance, or loyalty to systems that have replaced obedience to Christ. It must be formed through love, truth, holiness, humility, prayer, and surrender to the Lordship of Jesus.

Since 2015, we have witnessed increasing expressions of healing, deliverance, spiritual breakthrough, and the confirming work of the Holy Spirit. These experiences have strengthened our conviction that the Gospel must be preached not only in word, but demonstrated through transformed lives, freedom from bondage, restored identity, answered prayer, and believers who carry the evidence of Christ into the places where darkness has claimed territory.

Our responsibility is to equip disciples who can recognize those strongholds, confront deception with truth, pray with authority, minister freedom, strengthen the weak, heal the wounded, and establish other believers in the life of Christ. The purpose is not simply to win spiritual battles. The purpose is to remove barriers so that people can encounter the King and come under the transforming rule of His Kingdom.

The international work that began years ago was not the conclusion of the assignment. It was preparation for what is now emerging. The Lord allowed us to participate in training thousands of students and helping establish more than 125 house churches, but the next season carries a sharper emphasis. We are not simply seeking to establish more congregations. We are seeking to multiply mature disciples who can reproduce the life and mission of Christ wherever they are sent.

A commissioned disciple may minister in a church, a home, a village, a city, a workplace, a school, a neighborhood, or a nation. The location may change, but the mandate does not. They are to proclaim Christ, make disciples, teach obedience to His Word, minister freedom to those in bondage, equip believers for spiritual maturity, and prepare others to continue the work.

This is how the Kingdom multiplies. One equipped disciple reaches another. That disciple becomes grounded, healed, trained, and strengthened. In time, that believer begins discipling others. The work moves beyond one person, one congregation, one ministry, and one generation.

The objective is not to make people dependent upon Remnant Warrior Ministries or Kingdom War College. The objective is to form disciples who are dependent upon Christ, governed by the Holy Spirit, established in Scripture, and capable of carrying their own Kingdom assignment faithfully.

Remnant Warrior Ministries is moving forward as a training, equipping, commissioning, and sending ministry committed to raising mountain-moving disciples for the King. We believe this generation requires believers who know how to stand when culture shifts, pray when darkness presses in, discern when deception increases, obey when compromise becomes easier, and advance when fear tells the Church to retreat.

Our assignment is to awaken the Remnant, restore Kingdom identity, equip believers for spiritual warfare, strengthen the local Ecclesia, train disciples through Kingdom War College, commission those who have demonstrated readiness for ministry, and send spiritually equipped men and women into the places where God has assigned them. Everything we build, teach, publish, preach, and commission must ultimately serve the command Christ gave His Church: make disciples of the nations.

We are not building personal kingdoms. We are preparing people to serve the King. We are not seeking followers of a ministry. We are forming disciples of Jesus Christ. We are not measuring success simply by attendance, buildings, platforms, or recognition. We are looking for transformed disciples who become disciple-makers and carry the Gospel farther than we could ever carry it ourselves.

This is the vision before us: a holy Remnant formed in the secret place, grounded in the Word, governed by the Holy Spirit, equipped for spiritual battle, commissioned for Kingdom service, and sent into the nations carrying the Good News of Jesus Christ.

The ultimate objective is not the expansion of the name Remnant Warrior Ministries. It is the advancement of the Kingdom of God throughout the earth.
